Business Continuity Management

Services / Business Continuity Management

The profile of Business Continuity has never been higher.

The increasing reliance of businesses on Technology, coupled with the increased risk of terrorist attacks, flu epidemics, etc. has meant that businesses are increasingly likely to suffer significant disruptions than ever before. A recent study conducted by AXA has revealed that 46% of businesses have no business continuity plans in place.

Furthermore, 17% of businesses claim to have been affected by a disaster in the past and just over one in five of these companies took longer than a week to recover. Around 8 percent claim it took them over six months before they resumed full business functionality. Without Business Continuity plans in place, a business may leave itself open to significant risks and may also miss out on the many benefits that can be reaped through a properly conceived and maintained Business Continuity programme.
